Popocatépetl is Gonna Blow!

First things first. The volcano in our área is due to explode pretty soon. So its been pretty easy to sleep and not think about getting engulfed in lava. But luckily it's aimed the other direction so at least we wont die first!

Tuesday

Went pretty good! My favorite part of the day however was the food! its was amazing and, we had FLOUR TORTILLAS!!!! BOOM!!! WHOOP THERE IT IS!!!!!I haven't seen or heard of them for what seems like forever!! So you best believe I chowed down on those! Everything I ate, I made into a soft taco!!! Also that night, we were street contacting and a guy told me I had no American accent! #blessed And we had two great lessons on top of all that!

Wednesday

One lesson with a guy named Miguel Angel and he accepted baptism! It was a really good lesson and he has a strong spirit!

Thursday

We had nada thursday...

Friday

We went on discussions and I was with my district leader Elder Martinez! He's a Mexican but he's from Texas and speaks both English and Spanish. We contacted this lady in the Street and we wanted to find her house for the lesson later with her. It didn't exist... Elder Martinez proceeded to say, "Freaking Mexicans! why you gotta lie. just tell me 'No, i don't want to hear what you have to say' instead of giving me a fake address and making me look dumb!" It was so funny!!!

Saturday

We had a BAPTISM!!! Awesome right?  Usually, yeah, but we found out later that Rebecca's uncle, who baptized her, is inactive and because of that the baptism was invalid. So, Elder Cowdin told me I would be doing the batism next week. That's a Little crazy to think about!!!

Last, we finally got rid of Craig.  It only took 7 tries.  We took him on the bus with us, and drove him to another city, and dropped him off.  It was either that or kill him.  I feel like we made a good choice!!
