Guirmina and Remedios

You know what I hate? Time changes. It’s a really good idea, don't get me wrong. Like I appreciate my boy Ben Franklin, but you gots to come on now! You lose an hour of sleep, and then half the people don't even know it changed, and it just make people angry! Blessed art thou, Arizona. Monday night we had a lesson with Guirmina. We have to teach kind of slow with her so she'll understand, but when we taught her about the Restoration, she seemed to get it pretty good!!!

Tuesday was chill. We were walking down the street in the morning and a nice fella drove by, gave me the bird and shouted a colorful phrase my direction. I kind of felt bad for him because not only could I see that he had woken up on the wrong side of the bed, but it sounded like someone also might have peed in his corn flakes that morning.

Thursday was a good day! We had a lesson with Remedios and her family. Remedios is Guirmina's daughter! It was her, her husband and their two kids Jessica and Jorge. They all look super interested in the Restoration and we have another lesson with them on Friday!!! That's what I'm talking about!!!

Friday was going good. That is until we got a text from Remedios. It said they had to run to the doctor and might not be able to make it to the lesson we had... I felt like gut punching a nut cracker. So we called them like 2 hours later to see if they were still good for the lesson. Thankfully they were!!! So we taught them about the Book of Mormon and they told us before the lesson they didn’t want to except anything but the Bible. So we went ahead and destroyed their hopes and dreams and to keep it short, they understood the need of the Book of Mormon!!!

Saturday we had a good lesson with Guirmina about the Book of Mormon!!! She totally understands and she is definitely progressing!!! We will move on to the plan of salvacion with her next week!!
